SUR-VIE

*In French meaning "on life", "beyond life" and "survival"...

 

Inspired by the RA Summer Exhibition and the 19th century Salons in Paris, I had a strange desire last year to exhibit drawings and paintings with gay abandon, filling the walls of the Atelier Angström and enjoying the interaction and diversity of works from the past 20 years that remained in my possession.

 

There were also recent works on paper from the series Panic of Having Nothing to Say and sketches for my new project SKINT, a 70m frieze on the theme of poverty.
